About the teacher

Sergejs Kolecenko is an artist and educator specializing in printmaking, particularly mezzotint. Originally from Latvia, he received his education there and trained with masters from various countries. He now lives and works in Valencia, Spain, where he founded the creative space Abyss Artspace.
With over 15 years of experience in printmaking, Sergejs has participated in international exhibitions, artist residencies, and competitions. His approach combines classical printmaking techniques with contemporary artistic practices.
In this course, he shares not only technical skills, but also his experience in developing as an independent artist, building a portfolio, and applying for international opportunities.
